CATO Cost Management is a new module
designed to record and track all monetary
changes that occur for the duration of a
Project. It is especially suited to packaged
based contracts.
The system records the likely cost of potential
variations, programme changes, disruption and
other related items for early consideration by
the client. As the Project progresses, variations
of different types are recorded and the Project
anticipated costs and forecasts are adjusted accordingly.
At regular intervals, reports can be produced to show the current and
anticipated financial out-turn. These will normally be generated on a monthly or
quarterly basis depending on the Clients requirements, although alternative
reporting periods are available.
The CATO Cost Management module is the natural partner to CATO Cost Planning,
the output of the latter provides the baseline (initial budgets) for the former to
support effective cost management and reporting post contract.
CATO Cost Management offers the definitive tool for effective cost reporting and
has been developed for those who need to control rather than simply monitor costs.
