A system for the control and location of documents is a great aid to efficiency.  ECL
specialises in the area of construction because of our knowledge and experience of
this area.  At the very least we speak the same construction language and customers
have particularly commented how easy this makes things.

In particular in 2005/6 we have worked with Sheffield City Council to produce a
system for managing documents used in connection with the delivery of the Local
Transport Plan and in producing the relevant LTP reports to Government.

Many other Local Authorities are now looking at or using this system. Because
working with existing systems such as finance are a priority we have developed
unique skills in making this happen.

The control of Drawings in Design Office in the electronic environment is also an area
that ECL have developed and delivered systems for both Housing Developers,
Architects and Consultant Engineers.
